John Arthur Fyler : ウィキペディア英語版 | John Arthur Fyler John Arthur Fyler (Berkshire, 1855 - West Sussex, 1929)〔(Findagrave.com )〕 was a Conservative Member of Parliament from 1903 and 1904 for the English constituency of Chertsey. ==Biography== He was born in 1856 and educated at Marlborough College and Exeter College, Oxford, being subsequently called to the Bar at the Inner Temple, though he has never practised in his profession. He has had a great deal to do with the organisation of political Associations. For some years he acted as honorary secretary of Christchurch (Hampshire) Conservative Association. After succeeding to the Windlesham property at the death of his uncle Fyler accepted the office of Conservative agent in the Chertsey Division in 1898. In March 1903 he was elected as MP for Chertsey. Fyler was made bankrupt in May, 1904, with liabilities £22,279,and stepped down as M.P. The deficiency was partly explained by Stock Exchange losses, £14,000; betting losses, £1,000; interest borrowed money, £3.404; and expenses Parliamentary election, £1,043.
